BIO
A veteran musician in the southern rock genre, Trujillo (A.K.A. Kyle Robert Trujillo) has performed with many artists and bands around the U.S. Originally from Miami, FL, Trujillo has played alongside with and opened for iconic acts Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackberry Smoke, The Band Perry, Charlie Daniels, and many others. In 2017 Trujillo made the move to Nashville and founded the Alternative Pop/Rock band "Sunset East." As the primary songwriter and one of the lead vocalists, Trujillo performed with the band until 2019 touring around the country.
In 2019 Trujillo decided to further pursue his solo career. His debut track "Give 'Em Hell" is a song that on the surface seems like pure anger, but delving further you can hear the heartache in his voice and lyrics. Written right after a major surgery, breakup and the disbandment of the project he had created, Trujillo poured all his conflicting emotions into writing. Trujillo's performances can be described with one word - "honest." With hard hitting drums, distorted guitars and a raspy voice, you can bet that his performance will leave you wanting more. Belting out songs that range from rowdy to soul touching. Trujillo touches on all aspects of life, writing songs that delve into his own losses, successes and the things that have crafted him into the man he is. Trujillo's debut album "The Trail Starts Here" released in 2023 and a full length album is set for release in 2024!
